Meredith Vieira


Meredith Vieira This morning, The Today Show said a fond farewell to Meredith Vieira, who said her final "good morning" to her faithful audience just moments ago. Staring tomorrow, Ann Curry will sit alongside Matt Lauer as his new, trusted co-host and Meredith will take the next step in her career.But five years is something to truly celebrate and the crew at Today did not let Meredith leave without giving her the biggest send-off imaginable.

There were video tributes and fans in the plaza with signs up high reading "We'll miss you Meredith." But at the end of the show, the entire cast and crew marched through the NBC offices serenading Meredith with a joyous rendition of "Don't Stop Believing. Meredith Vieira takes her final co-host bow we won't only be saying goodbye to a beloved news anchor but to an occasionally crude but mostly hilarious .

Morning show staple who's had us laughing for the past five years.From talking dirty with James Franco to kicking co-host, Matt Lauer in his "peppercorns" to accidentally firing off a joke, while still on air, about a guest who was struck by lightning, it's Vieira's undying and often inappropriate humor that has raked in the viewers and made her the person that millions of Americans choose to wake up with every morning.
