Super 8 Stepping out for a swanky evening, Tom Cruise and Elle Fanning were spotted at the premiere of “Super 8” in Westwood, California last night June 8.The “Top Gun” stud looked handsome as he posed next to the “Somewhere” sweetie at the Regency Village Theatre before heading inside for the screening.And it seems that writer-director JJ Abrams has a lot riding on “Super 8’s” success as it’s his first writer-director gig.It’s also his first non-franchise film, therefore Abrams is banking on a big opening weekend to prove he’s more than just a blockbuster guy.
