PvrWith PVR being the airport code for Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Recall that US Airways started nonstop flights to Puerto Vallarta and Cabo (SJD) in June 2010 with four flights a week to each. In March — most certainly not the slow season for tourist destinations in Mexico — both destinations dropped to Saturday only. Now US Airways isn’t showing any flights at all from CLT to PVR from January 2011 on. The Charlotte-Cabo service is still listed as Saturday only, at least for now. The airline still has multiple daily flights to both destinations from Phoenix.
