
SextonSexton, 24, had four goals and nine assists in 47 games with the Ducks last season while spending multiple extended stints in the minor leagues with the Syracuse Crunch. The Apple Valley, Minn., native became a restricted free agent on Friday after making a pro-rated $750,000 salary last season based on his time in the NHL. It was a year ago when defenseman James Wisniewski took the Ducks to arbitration. The two sides avoided a hearing by agreeing to a one-year deal worth $3.25 million but that was to facilitate a trade of Wisniewski to the New York Islanders. The Kings had two players file Tuesday.
