There’s nothing much better than a finely crafted bowl of guacamole, and for any worthy Cinco De Mayo celebration, it’s a prerequisite for anyone with the discerning tongue. One of the three staples of the Mexican celebratory day (alongside a stiff margarita and a chilled cerveza), guacamole can be an easy dish to screw up, but luckily Roger from E! Security is sharing his ingredients for an unforgettable bowl.
Whip out your mortar and pestle and check out the full list of ingredients for Roger’s signature guacamole:
- 10 avocados
- 5 serrano peppers
- 3 lemons
- 1 cilantro bush
- 1/2 white onion
- 3 tomatoes
- seasoned salt
- lemon and pepper salt
- black pepper
- 3 avocado seeds (to keep guacamole fresh)
NOTE: Chop the avocado LAST in order to keep it fresh for as long as possible. Then season everything with salts and lemon juice. Once tossed, add the avocado seeds to keep the guacamole fresh.
