Weather Chicago Hello Chicagoland We are already at 80 degrees at 6 AM! Just goes to show how hot today is going to be! We are looking at a high near 98 degrees with no relief at night as temps should bottom out in the low 80s. The NWS has put out a Special Weather Statement regarding this heat, an updated version can be found below. Cloudy with periods of rain and gusty storms. Lows near 61. in the morning with gusty or severe storms possible through noon. The threat is large hail and damaging winds. The afternoon will become partly sunny with highs climbing into the low 80s, but only 70s along Wisconsin line. The overnight lows will be near 65.Tuesday afternoon a cold front triggers some gusty storms and showers. By Thursday we will cool back to the 70s with pleasant conditions and isolated showers continuing into the weekend.
