Dumpling Festival

Dumpling Festival Only from this morning that I realized today is the Dumpling Festival, or officially known as DuanWu Festival, or also being called as Dragon Boat Festival. Do you notice that all the Chinese festivals has a lot of nicknames? This one is not an exception. What to do for this festival? Of course, eat dumpling! Too bad, I have no dumpling at home for me to eat and I had not even eaten one yet for this year’s festival. Anyway, I am not so interested on eating it, just got a feeling of wanting to eat because I have not tasted it for a year.

As for the dragon boat thing, I didn’t notice any nearby dragon boat event being organized around KL since the dirty rivers in the city are very not suitable for this event. It would be nice if I can have an opportunity to watch one today, which the probability is zero! Here in Malaysia, there is nothing much special in celebrating this festival, and today is just as usual as normal days…even my grandma did not bring us some dumplings yesterday when we met for dinner which she usually did every year
