master chef

master chef Gordon was trying to get a reaction out of me," she said. "This is reality TV. It's about drama."She said she could understand the comments made about her food, though they upset her."I was trying to make a complementary flavor," she said, explaining the combination of salmon, cheese grits and a raspberry sauce. "I had field tested the dish with several people and I got really good responses from it. ... Obviously, it didn't work that day."She said she was more than disappointed to not move on in the competition."Devastated," she said.

"But it's not like the worst thing that's happened in my life."She said she has already heard from a lot of women and men who are old enough to be Ramsay's parent who were inspired by her short time on the show."MasterChef" is "not something most women my age think they can do," she said. "But it opens windows, opportunities, new adventures."She said she hopes to use her "fame" to attract people to her Facebook page about cooking - "What's for Dinner? Ally's Kitchen" - and eventually to a professional website.People are "looking for ways to make hum-drum complacent things in their lives just a little more exciting. ... I'll show them how to make their food ramped up and bit more gourmet, from how you prepare it to how you plate it."Little things with ingredients and with cooking that make me feel like I'm in a gourmet kitchen," she said. She said though she would do some things differently, she would do "MasterChef" again.
