C string- McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- The Yellow Cab Company of Sacramento hopes a reward will stop a string of taxi driver robberies in Sacramento
Three drivers were robbed within an almost one day period from early Friday morning to early Saturday morning. The Sacramento Police Department and the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department are investigating the possibility that one guy is behind all three robberies.One of the drivers works for Yellow Cab Company of Sacramento, prompting the owner to offer a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the man behind the robbery.The victims report their attacker was a guy in his 20s or 30s with a medium build. One of the drivers told officers that the suspect was wearing gloves.
