Police is looking into the matter," the official said.A police official said that they have taken the statement of Sushma and are probing the case. "Sushma in her statement told the police that she was with her husband in the room when she heard a thud. She noticed that two persons were peeping inside through a window and were filming their act in a cellphone. She raised an alarm and the duo fled from there," said the police official.

He also said that Sushma identified one of the accused Mukesh Chand. She and her husband reached the reception and found that he was lying there in an inebriated condition. Sushma called a friend Hashim and narrated him the whole incident. Hashim then asked Mukesh Chand to hand them over his cellphone. But Mukesh refused. Police file"Mukesh manhandled Sushma, her husband and Hashim. His cellphone fell on the floor and broke. But Sushma and her friend managed to get the memory card. This was handed over to the police," said the police official.
The official said that memory card contained some vulgar videos but he refused to reveal whether it contained any videos of the Congress delegate. Mukesh is out on bail.

"A person named Nitin, who is a friend of the accused, called him up, when he was caught. He asked him whether the matter was sorted out or not. Nitin can be the second person who was trying to film their act," said a police official on the condition of anonymity.

Temporary trouble
Meanwhile, Gyanender Singh, chief caretaker at Western Court said that the accused Mukesh was not a permanent employee. "Mukesh was working on contract basis. He was hired through a contractor. He was working here for the past one year. I was not in town when this incident was reported. He has been sacked," said Singh. "She might be an AICC delegate. But I'm not aware of her identity or this particular incident," said senior Congress leader Shakeel Ahmad.
