TNPSCTamil Nadu Public Service Commission is a follower of UPSC. It works under the UPSC. It has assigned with some task to do itself. There are many functions/responsibilities of TNPSC. Its work starts from direct recruitment to state, subordinate and ministerial services. It conducts the department examinations for government servants and advice to government regarding to matter of recruitment. It also advices to government on appointment, promotions and transfers from one service to another serviceTamil Nadu Public Service Commission.
TNPSC) was conducted the main written examination of Group-I Services posts on 22 January 2011 and 23 January 2011 and selected candidates in written examination was called for oral test on 23 June 2011 and 24 June 2011. and now finally it published the register number of selected candidate on 29th June 2011.
